Frostkrone Tiefkühlkost GmbH is a manufacturer of frozen finger food and convenience snacks headquartered in Rietberg, East Westphalia. The company develops and produces breaded and deep-fried appetizers such as Rösti Sticks, Chili Cheese Nuggets, Mozzarella Sticks and Mini Corny Dogs based on vegetables, fish, fruit, cheese, meat and scalded sausage. The core processes are deep-frying, breading and freezing in in-line production with state-of-the-art machinery in a three-shift system; packaging is done individually according to customer specifications. With over 500 employees, around 20,000 tonnes per year are delivered to food retail, discounters and foodservice, among others as an official product partner of BVB. The company supplies customers in Germany, Scandinavia, the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Austria, Eastern Europe and the USA. Production takes place at the two production sites Rietberg and Paderborn; in Breda (Netherlands) is the foodservice head office.
