About us

Fruchtkelterei Merg GmbH & Co. KG is a family business in Gebroth on the southern edge of the Soonwald forest in Rhineland-Palatinate, between the Nahe and the Hunsrück at an elevation of around 360 meters. The company, run by the Merg family for over 30 years, selects berries and fruits from the region and processes them gently and slowly into juices, jellies and preserves, syrups, secco, fruit wines, vinegars, liqueurs and distillates. The juices are produced as direct juice without concentrates; the fruits come in part from the company's own unsprayed orchard meadows as well as from customers in the region who deliver their fruit for pressing. In addition to its own product range, the press house offers contract fruit pressing (Lohnkelterei) with an annual fruit intake period, as well as a farm shop with direct sales and an online shop.
