Under the Schüssler brand (s-pw.de), FS Metallzentrum GmbH & Co. KG operates a machinery and plant engineering business in Bad Oeynhausen and Porta Westfalica. Founded in 1992, the company develops and manufactures mechanical and hydraulic lifting equipment, tilting equipment, tool change carts and tool change systems for tool weights of up to 50 tonnes, as well as plant engineering and conveying technology such as belt conveyors, roller conveyors, chain conveyors and feeding systems. In addition, the company offers contract manufacturing of welded assemblies up to 20 metres in length in steel, aluminium and stainless steel, its own paint shop, and the assembly of modules, series and special-purpose machines including installation of pneumatic, electrical and hydraulic systems. Technical and structural design calculations and 3D constructions are carried out in-house, along with function tests at the customer's site. Customers include the automotive and supply industries, recycling, electroplating, plastic injection moulding and forming and stamping technology; the Wüllner netting machines for Christmas tree harvesting are sold worldwide.
