FSG Fernsteuergeräte is a sensor manufacturer founded in 1946 with headquarters in Berlin. The company develops and manufactures angle, inclination, length and position sensor technology, including inclination sensors, draw-wire sensors, rotary encoders, industrial joysticks, foot pedals and wind sensors. Around 80 percent of orders are custom adaptations. The level of vertical integration is about 90 percent and includes in-house toolmaking, electroplating, EDM as well as an EMC testing area and a wind tunnel for final inspection. Every series unit undergoes 100% testing in in-house laboratories and test rigs; new developments are certified externally. Customers include industries such as agricultural technology, construction machinery, shipbuilding, rail transport, medicine, offshore and automation. In total, FSG employs around 500 staff at four sites with approximately 15,500 m² of production space and is active worldwide through twelve representatives.
