FSM Frankenberger GmbH was founded in 1970 in Pohlheim near Gießen and, since October 2022, has been part of the Abionik Group within the Wilo Group as Wilo FSM. The company develops, manufactures and sells an almost complete product range for mechanical water and wastewater treatment: 16 screen systems, screenings processing, conveying technology, grit treatment and compact systems for grit chambers and screens. Machines such as the Center Flow screen, filter band screen, rake-circulation screen and sludge screen are manufactured from stainless steel 1.4301/1.4404, highly wear-resistant steel and HDPE. The services include design, engineering, manufacturing, installation, commissioning and after-sales service with maintenance, overhaul and remote support. Customers include municipal wastewater treatment plants, power plants, drinking water supply and industries ranging from meat to paper processing. In addition to its operating facility in Pohlheim, the company has a further environmental technology production site in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern; the registered head office with billing and postal address is located in Berlin.
