FTG Fluidtechnik GmbH is a system house for hydraulics and pneumatics based in Georgenthal, Thuringia. Founded in 1991 out of the sole proprietorship STÄRK – Hydraulics and Mechanical Engineering, the company develops and manufactures custom drive solutions for special-purpose machines, forming machines, presses and pipe bending machines. Its range of services extends from customer consulting and planning, through the construction of hydraulic power units with tank capacities of up to approx. 4000 litres and complete systems, to service. At the Ohrdruf branch, pipe bends and pipe assemblies are produced using the mandrel bending process; hydraulic hose lines from 1 TE to 6 SH (DN 2 to DN 60) are assembled both in-house and directly on customer construction sites. Customers come mainly from the automotive industry, special-purpose machine construction, environmental technology and power generation, including Audi, Daimler, Volkswagen and Bosch Rexroth. With around 20 permanent employees and three locations in Thuringia, Fluidtechnik handles tasks as complete solutions including maintenance and servicing, with its own service vehicle and service hotline.
