Family-owned company with in-house toolmaking
FÜRST GmbH is a fourth-generation family-owned company based in Hallerndorf (Bavaria) that manufactures dimensionally stable plastic packaging using the injection moulding process. The portfolio comprises round, rectangular and square tubs as well as pails from 200 ml to 5.5 litres, special shapes and customer-exclusive packaging, produced in all colours, transparent or opaque. From its own toolmaking operation, which has existed since its founding as a toolmaking business in 1938, the design department develops customised packaging shapes from idea generation to series production, including prototype manufacturing. Finishing techniques include IML decoration (In-Mold Labeling) on containers and lids as well as the structural relief technique with a contrast of smooth, clear and rough, matt surfaces. The main customers are the food industry, in particular confectionery, dairy products, delicatessen as well as kernels, nuts and cereal flakes. In addition to the parent plant in Hallerndorf, the group operates two production sites in France with Futurplast SAS (Moussac) and Fürst-Plast SAS (Fourques) and delivers throughout Europe. Production is carried out irrespective of volume, from the smallest quantities to large orders.
