About Fütterer Werkzeugbau

Fütterer Werkzeugbau GmbH is a family-owned business founded in 1986 in Elchesheim-Illingen near Karlsruhe. The company designs and manufactures transfer, deep-drawing and progressive dies as well as stamping, forming and bending tools and processes sheet metal from 0.4 to 6 mm. Around 30 tools weighing up to 10 tonnes are produced each year; try-out is carried out on the company's own try-out press. The in-house production depth includes CNC milling, CNC turning, surface and cylindrical grinding as well as die sinking and wire EDM; hardening is outsourced. Services include method planning, forming simulation with Stampack, fixture construction including control and automation technology, and contract services such as CNC turned parts and single-part manufacturing. Customers come from the automotive, construction, household appliance and electrical industries.
