A family company for over 150 years

FUHRMANN Fahrzeuge Ges.m.b.H. is a family business that has existed for around 150 years in Steinebrunn, Lower Austria, directly on the Austrian-Czech border. The company manufactures steel side walls (approx. 600 km per year on its own roll-forming line), agricultural vehicles and special truck bodies, ceiling and hall structures including special constructions such as motorway bridges, as well as stainless steel tanks for viticulture and the food industry. Through the sister company A.E.I. in Valtice (CZ), equipment for the construction machinery industry is also produced, including wheel loader buckets from 0.5 to 18 m³, excavator buckets and quick-coupler systems for leading manufacturers. Production covers CAD design, plasma and oxy-fuel cutting up to 12 x 3 m (1–200 mm), bending up to 500 t/5 m, welding, machining up to 40 t piece weight, as well as sandblasting and painting in the company's own paint shop. Materials used are in particular QSTE 380TM and HARDOX 400/500/600, stocked in large formats. In total, the Steinebrunn and Valtice sites employ around 170 people.
