About Fuji Brandenburg
Fuji Brandenburg GmbH is an independently operating subsidiary of the Japanese Fuji Oil Group, headquartered in Osaka. In April 2023, the company began production of the soluble pea fiber FIPEA® in Golßen (Brandenburg). FIPEA® is a natural dietary fiber with nutritional and food-quality-enhancing properties and is used in the food and beverage industry, among other applications, in Europe. It is manufactured using a patented production technology based on locally sourced peas from European raw materials, in close cooperation with Emsland Group at the neighboring site. The remaining insoluble fraction is further used in regional feed mills (upcycling technology). The company also offers research and development, application trials, and quality control. The technological foundation is the know-how of the Fuji Oil Group, which had previously developed a soluble soy fiber from okara.
