About Fundermax
Fundermax is an Austrian manufacturer of high-quality wood-based materials and high-pressure laminates (HPL) headquartered in St. Veit an der Glan, Carinthia. The portfolio includes raw chipboard, coated chipboard (Star Favorit), high-pressure laminate panels (HPL), compact panels (Max Compact Exterior and Interior), biofiber panels as well as m.look Interior and Exterior panels. The products are made from kraft paper, synthetic resin and wood-based materials and are used indoors, for example, in kitchens, furniture, wall cladding, sanitary and hospital applications, and outdoors for facades, balconies, outdoor furniture and playgrounds. Customers include architecture, commercial construction, the furniture industry, shopfitting, healthcare, school construction as well as transport and infrastructure. In addition to its Austrian production sites, the company operates its own kraft paper production in Ranheim (Norway) as well as paper & board sites in Aalesund and Almelo. Fundermax employs around 1,500 people worldwide, is part of Constantia Industries AG and is present through subsidiaries, among others, in Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, Poland, India and the USA.
