About futura chemie

futura chemie GmbH was founded in 2003 in Reutlingen and specializes in electrochemical precision machining (ECM/PECM), electrochemical deburring and erosion technology. The original business was the production of chemical-technical products for cleaning and corrosion protection, which are now used before and after the ECM process. As a service, the company offers electrochemical deburring, micro electrical discharge machining (ECDM), electrochemical micro-drilling as well as flow calibration of nozzles, in particular hollow-cone nozzles. In its own laboratory, the company develops electrolytes, analytically optimizes ECM/PECM processes and examines surfaces using scanning electron microscopy and X-ray analysis. In addition, futura chemie builds compact ECM/PECM machines for micro-machining, including the portable machine FC 500. Materials machined include steel, brass, aluminum as well as high-performance materials such as titanium, titanium alloys, tantalum, niobium, tungsten and zirconium for industries such as automotive, aviation, medical technology and atomization technology.
