About FUTURE.rent
FUTURE.rent, founded in 2019 and headquartered in Berlin, is the first private carsharing platform for electric cars in Europe. Private individuals can rent out their electric car to others via the online platform or the iOS and Android apps and thus build up a side income. Renters find electric cars in their vicinity for test drives, trips, events or business journeys, even without owning a vehicle themselves. Use of the platform and app is free for both lessors and renters; upon a successful rental, the lessor pays ten percent of the rental amount as a service fee. All electric cars are fully comprehensively insured across Europe for the rental period through Itzehoer Versicherungen. Partners include bessergrün and Polestar.
