About FW Industrievertretung GmbH

Founded in 1996 and headquartered in Passau, FW Industrievertretung GmbH specialises in the distribution of ferrite cores and wound components. As a partner of KASCHKE, the company supplies customers in Bavaria and Austria with ferrite cores, wound components and plastic parts such as coil formers, potting housings, core holders and base plates. Beyond pure distribution, FW Industrievertretung GmbH offers machining of ferrite cores. Ferrite is a ceramic material with magnetic properties and can only be machined using diamond tools in a wet process. The range of services includes grinding air gaps into the centre leg of E-cores, shortening VZ and rod cores, drilling and grinding cores, as well as prototype production from ferrite blocks. In addition, small series are processed and customers are supported with fast pre-series of standardised or customised wound components from stock. Since machining times can vary greatly depending on the task, pricing is provided individually by quotation or on a time-and-materials basis.
