FWH Federnfabrik Wilhelm Hesse GmbH is a traditional spring manufacturing company founded in 1887 by Friedrich Wilhelm Hesse. The company manufactures compression springs, tension springs, helical springs (torsion springs), wire bending parts, retaining rings, and flat form springs, stamping, and bending parts. Production takes place on automatic coil spring machines and wire bending machines, including a WAFIOS FUL86, which enables the processing of wire up to 9 mm in thickness for compression springs and retaining rings. The range of services includes consulting, spring development and calculation using specialized software, sample production, custom manufacturing, and small to large series. Customers come from, among others, instrument engineering, medical technology, automotive industry, textile machinery, railway vehicle construction, fitting construction, and valve construction. Since 1990, the machine park has been continually modernized; the QS system introduced in 1994 is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. The company is a member of the German Spring Industry Association and is located in Ebersbach-Neugersdorf.
