About FZ3D®
FZ3D® is a highly specialized dental milling center located in the heart of Hamburg. The company exclusively produces industrial semi-finished products for further processing in dental laboratories – from single crowns and bridge frameworks to telescope crowns and demanding suprastructure constructions, including restorations with up to 16 units. The material used is zirconia, a non-metallic high-performance ceramic, partly in the form of pre-shaded multilayer discs. The process chain includes scanning of plaster models and intraoral scans with 3Shape E4 or F8, CAD design of the frameworks with 3Shape Dental Designer 2024 and Exocad 3.2, as well as milling on industrial HSC milling machines (High-Speed Cutting) with a repeat accuracy of max. 0.002 mm. Every finished framework is inspected under the stereomicroscope and documented with an inspection report including batch number. Customers are dental laboratories, which are supported via next-day service, express weekend production and online support.
