G-EAS GmbH, based in Hagen, is a service company for automation technology in machine and plant engineering as well as in regulated industries. The range of services includes operational project management in automation technology, PLC programming and EPLAN engineering for standards-compliant electrical design. Projects are supported along the entire cycle – from technical concept development through schedule, cost and resource management to FAT, SAT and production ramp-up. PLC programming covers Siemens S5, S7, TIA Portal, PCS 7, Codesys and Allen-Bradley; in addition, HMI and SCADA systems such as WinCC and InTouch are developed and drive systems (Sinamics) are designed, parameterized and commissioned. Migrations of legacy systems (e.g. S5 → S7/TIA) and database interfaces (ODBC, ORACLE) are also part of the offering. Project work was carried out, among others, for customers from the steel and heavy industry, the chemical and pharmaceutical industries as well as the food and automotive industries, including VDM Metals, ThyssenKrupp, Deutsche Edelstahlwerke, Outokumpu, ArcelorMittal and Rheinzink – also internationally, for example in Finland and Kazakhstan.
