G + F Strate GmbH Schweißwerk - Maschinenfabrik is a family-run company founded in 1903 and based in Hanover, specialising in the machining of industrial machine components. Its service portfolio includes machining (turning, milling, drilling, grinding, planing and honing), the new manufacture of spare parts and custom-made components up to 35 t unit weight, as well as repair, rework and straightening of parts and assemblies on a straightening press line up to 20 m long. Further focal points are the armouring (hardfacing) of highly stressed components as wear protection, welded assemblies in grey cast iron, spheroidal graphite cast iron, aluminium, copper and bronze, as well as the overhaul of injection moulding and die casting machines and industrial gearboxes. Customers include, among others, the die casting industry and the metal industry. From its headquarters on Stiegelmeyerstraße in Hanover, the medium-sized company supplies industrial customers with precise, cost-effective and sustainable manufacturing and repair services.
