About G. Fischer Metallverarbeitung GmbH
G. Fischer Metallverarbeitung GmbH is a family-owned company from Neu-Ulm with 25 employees, now in its second and third generation. Founded in 1981, the company manufactures welded assemblies, bent tubes and laser-cut tubes and profiles up to a circumscribing circle of 230 mm. Its value chain includes MAG robotic welding on three systems with changeover tables, MIG/MAG and TIG manual welding at seven stations, CNC tube bending using the mandrel bending process for tube diameters from 5 to 90 mm, tube laser cutting, end processing, and assembly from pre-assembly through final assembly including packaging. Materials processed include steel, aluminium, brass, copper and stainless steel. Customer industries are primarily automotive and commercial vehicle manufacturing as well as general mechanical engineering. Welding fixtures are developed and manufactured in-house, and powder coating and other surface treatments are organised as integrated services, so that ready-to-install assemblies are delivered from a single source.

Materials and Processes
MAG robotic welding
Series production of welded assemblies from sheet metal up to 10 mm thick on three systems with changeover tables.
Manual welding
At seven manual welding stations, also for aluminium welded assemblies.
CNC tube bending (mandrel bending process)
Round and profile tubes with 5–90 mm diameter made of steel, aluminium, brass, copper or stainless steel.
Tube laser cutting
Tubes and profiles up to a circumscribing circle of 230 mm with clean cut edges and high repeatability.
Steel
Base material for welded assemblies and tube components in the automotive industry.
Aluminium
For aluminium welded assemblies and bent tube lines.
Stainless steel
For bent tube components with corrosion resistance requirements.
Brass and copper
Materials processed in the tube bending area.
