Pump Manufacturing from Tradition: Former Bornemann Engineers
G. Legacy Pumpen & Prozesstechnik GmbH (GERMAN LEGACY) develops, manufactures and sells pumps and process technology for marine applications, tank farms, refineries and oil production. The company is a group of former Bornemann engineers, technicians and application consultants with more than 150 years of combined experience. The focus is on screw spindle pumps analogous to the pumps of the Bornemann company as well as on progressive cavity pumps, double-screw pumps and multiphase boosting solutions (multiphase boosting, artificial lift). The pumps are mounted, including drives, on individually fabricated stainless steel base plates. The service portfolio includes engineering and design, spare parts, repairs, commissioning, plant optimization and full service within the framework of maintenance contracts, complemented by MAFD studies and multiphase rental units. In 2020, a strategic partnership was formed with FluidScience Dynamics (FSD), in which FSD acquired an industrial shareholder stake in the company. As a German SME, GERMAN LEGACY is represented locally in its core markets worldwide with partners.
