About us
G&S Bearbeitungstechnik und Maschinenbau GmbH is a family company founded in 1992 and now in its second generation, headquartered in Friolzheim. The company specializes in computer-controlled metalworking and manufactures turned and milled parts to drawing – from prototypes and individual parts to small, medium and large production runs. The machine park comprises around 40 Mazak machines, including turn-mill centers with sub-spindle and driven tools, 3- and 5-axis milling centers, as well as grinding, trowalizing and laser marking systems. Common metals and non-ferrous metals, tool steels, special alloys and plastics are machined; an in-house material warehouse with sawing facility shortens response times. In addition, assembly, surface treatments and heat treatments via vetted partners as well as custom packaging with corrosion protection are offered. Customers come from mechanical and plant engineering, tool and die making, aviation, the automotive industry and medical technology. Production takes place in multi-shift operation on approximately 1500 m² of production space in Friolzheim.
