G. Staehle GmbH u. Co. KG sells its cleaning machines under the columbus brand. From its base in the heart of Stuttgart, the company develops and produces scrubber driers (walk-behind and ride-on machines), sweepers, single-disc machines, industrial vacuum cleaners, commercial vacuum cleaners, spray extraction machines, and escalator and moving walkway cleaning machines. The product range is complemented by autonomous cleaning systems, which are consolidated at the PHILON Competence Center in Stuttgart – from development through to sales, including systems from GAUSIUM ROBOTICS. The machines are designed for continuous professional use and are manufactured under the Made in Germany standard; the ST 11 nxt dust/brush vacuum, for example, uses a container made of polypropylene (PP). Target industries are facility service providers, retail, industry, transport/logistics and healthcare. The offering is rounded out by consulting, training, fleet management, financing solutions, and repair and maintenance service through more than 40 service hubs.
