About G. Ulmer Automation
G. Ulmer Automation GmbH was founded in 1995 by graduate engineer Gerd Ulmer, who previously supported the development departments of leading companies in the Swabian machine tool and automation industry as an expert in control technology. The company acts as a problem solver and partner for special-purpose machinery, laser technology, robotics, automated test systems and assembly workstations. With the arrival of Dr. Matthias Ulmer, the range of services was extended to include FEM simulation based on the finite element method using ANSYS and MAXWELL, in particular for magnetic and thermal tasks. Further focal points are control technology, PLC programming, software development, data handling, tracking measurement on machines, as well as service and support. Business areas include automated handling in production, flexible assembly systems for assemblies, and automatic or manual test stations with demanding tests. Customers come from the machine tool industry, the automation industry and electromobility.
