We are G3
G3 Electronic Technologie GmbH was founded in 1995 by Günter Kühne and is a partner for custom wire and cable assemblies as well as for the trade in electrotechnical brand products from renowned manufacturers. Its range of services covers material sourcing, manufacture of wire and cable assemblies, device manufacturing and module assembly, as well as ultrasonic compaction and ultrasonic welding for joining multiple wires or for compacting wire ends. In addition, the company offers an express service for small series, first samples and prototype production. Materials processed include copper (conductors, tinned sleeves) and plastics such as polypropylene, as well as optical fiber cables for assembly. Customers are found in industries such as heating and air conditioning technology, medical technology, lighting technology, metrology, automation/robotics, vehicle manufacturing, control cabinet construction, mechanical engineering, food technology, photovoltaics, wind power and railway technology. With around 25 employees, G3 Electronic is one of the larger cable assembly companies in western Austria; the company headquarters with its own plant has been located at Koblacherstraße 44 in Meiningen, Vorarlberg, since 2005.

Materials and processes
Copper
Bare copper wires and tinned copper sleeves form the conductors and ferrules of the assemblies.
Polypropylene
Insulating collars of the ferrules.
Stainless steel A4 (EN 1.4404 / AISI 316L)
Material of the pressure compensation elements for corrosion-resistant housing applications.
PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene)
Water- and oil-repellent high-performance membrane in pressure compensation elements.
Bio-TPU
Partially bio-based outer sheath of Ethernet cables for sustainable applications.
PVC
Outer sheath material of cables, e.g. for occasionally moving applications.
Optical fiber (fiber optic cable)
Optical fiber cables (A-D(ZN)2Y, A-DQ(ZN)2Y, A-DQ(ZN)B2Y) for broadband expansion and 5G, also for patch cable assembly up to 60 m.
Ultrasonic welding/ultrasonic compaction
Joining multiple wires and compacting wire ends as an alternative to ferrules or tinned ends.
Crimping
Standard-compliant crimp connections between wires and connectors, e.g. up to 10 mm² for solar connectors.
