Who we are
Gabus SA is a Swiss company founded in the 1950s, headquartered in Diessbach bei Büren with a branch in Grenchen. The company specializes in the manufacture of diamond and CBN grinding tools in resin, hybrid, metal and electroplated bonds as well as in the machining of hard materials. The portfolio includes diamond and CBN grinding wheels, lapping wheels up to 750 mm diameter for Stähli and Peter Wolters machines, profile wheels for Rollomatic, centerless grinding tools as well as wire-eroded profile wheels with profile tolerances down to 0.015 mm. In addition, Gabus manufactures carbide guide bushings, gauging mandrels, gauging rings and complex components by die sinking and wire EDM, and machines dials, watch cases, sapphire, ceramics and carbon. A dressing service including re-profiling by wire EDM rounds off the offering. Production is carried out to customer drawings from prototypes to large-scale series; standard tools are available via a webshop. Since May 2024, Gabus has continued the diamond and CBN tools business unit of Diacarb AG as its own brand.
