GAD GmbH was founded in Dresden in 1991 as an engineering office for planning in the field of building services engineering (TGA) and was extended in 2001 to include plant engineering. The company plans, designs and constructs electrical and automation systems as well as complex ventilation technology, building technology, environmental technology, supply and disposal technology and measurement technology. The business areas also include engineering services in energy management according to ISO 50001, in process control technology, electrical and data technology as well as engineering. Control cabinets and electrical distribution systems, i.e. type-tested switchgear assemblies (PTSK), are manufactured in-house; commissioning, programming and service of the systems are carried out by the company's own team. Customers are located predominantly in the Saxony region and come from industries such as pharmaceutical and food industries, healthcare, public administration, schools and production companies; a reference project is the Frauenkirche Dresden.
