GAF Gesellschaft für Automatisierungstechnik mbH Freiberg & Co. KG is an industry-independent company for electrical measurement, control and regulation technology (EMSR) in automation technology, founded in 1992. The company supports automation projects holistically – from consulting, planning and project engineering through switchgear, control and power distribution construction in its own in-house workshop to installation, commissioning, maintenance and remote maintenance. The service portfolio also includes PLC programming, process visualizations, the creation and revision of circuit diagrams (EPLAN Electric P8), preparation of tender documents, energy optimization as well as safety and DGUV inspections of control cabinets. GAF works for regional, supra-regional and international customers from industry, including in ventilation, heating and refrigeration systems, water and wastewater treatment plants, swimming pool facilities and process engineering plant technology. Since 2021, the company with 19 employees has been part of the JULABO Group and also serves as an independent EMSR competence center at the Brand-Erbisdorf site in Saxony.
