Gaisbauer Möbelwerkstätten GmbH is a fine cabinetmaking and furniture manufactory located in Aschach an der Donau (Upper Austria), operated in its fourth generation since 1888. We manufacture custom furniture and complete interior designs: classical furniture, modern design, interior doors, bathroom fittings, libraries, built-ins, casement windows, andship floors, complemented by upholstered furniture and wood and surface restoration, including heritage-compliant door revitalization. Production is done by manual labor on a machine park of around 40 standard and specialized machines; partly original templates and gauges from the founding period, along with proprietary molds, enable virtually any custom order. We process hand-selected woods and veneers – the veneers consistently come from a single tree – as well as real gold leaf. Our customers include private clients, interior designers, monasteries, and colleges, as well as hotel furnishing; internationally recognized projects include those in Hong Kong, the USA, and Great Britain.
