Industrial aerodynamics and ventilation technology since 1964
GAL Ventilation GmbH, headquartered in Ratingen, develops, designs, manufactures and installs industrial ventilation systems – from individual fans to large-scale installations. The service portfolio includes natural, hybrid and mechanical ventilation, smoke and heat exhaust ventilation (SHEV) to DIN EN 12101-2, daylighting technology, industrial noise protection as well as pneumatics, electrics and control/instrumentation (MSR) technology. The engineering services offer feasibility studies, on-site analyses, CFD flow simulation, in-house developed thermally coupled zone models and wind tunnel model tests; in addition, customised special designs, e.g. for highly corrosive environments, are offered and sales and manufacturing licences are granted. The ventilation components include modular fans (GALvent), exhaust air and intake air systems as well as gravity roof fans built to customer specifications. Key customer sectors are the steel and metal industry, glass production, power plant and environmental technology, chemicals and petrochemicals as well as manufacturing and light industry. With over 800 projects on four continents, the company founded in 1964 is part of the DIAG Group; a manufacturing and sales centre is located in Izmir (Torbalı), Turkey.
