About GALAB Laboratories

GALAB Laboratories GmbH is a chemical analysis services laboratory based in Hamburg since 1992. The company tests food, packaging, hygiene products, consumer goods as well as their raw materials and intermediate products for ingredients, residues and contaminants along the entire supply chain. The service portfolio includes standard methods, customer-specific method development, external quality control as well as parameter profiles that are continuously adapted to current regulatory developments such as PFAS requirements or pesticide monitoring. With more than 5,000 analyzable parameters and state-of-the-art laboratory technology, GALAB serves leading companies worldwide. As an internationally active laboratory, the company maintains subsidiaries with around 220 employees, among others in Peru, Singapore, Turkey, Spain, Ukraine and China, as well as representative offices in the Philippines and Sri Lanka. Since November 2025, GALAB has been part of the Normec Group, a European group of companies for Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC).
