About GALAB Laboratories
GALAB Laboratories GmbH is an independent, internationally active service laboratory headquartered in Hamburg. Since its founding in 1992, the company has analyzed food, packaging, hygiene products, consumer goods, baby and femcare products, and their raw materials for substances and contaminants along the entire supply chain. The parameter spectrum covers more than 5,000 analyzable parameters, including pesticides (Pesticide500Plus®), mycotoxins, dioxins, PFAS, mineral oil (MOSH/MOAH), heavy metals, allergens, GMO analyses and endocrine disruptors. In addition to standard methods, the in-house research and development department develops customer-specific analytical methods. In addition to its Hamburg headquarters, GALAB maintains branches in Peru, Singapore, Turkey, Spain, Ukraine and China, as well as personal representative offices in the Philippines and Sri Lanka. Since November 2025, GALAB has been part of the Normec Group, a European group of companies in the field of testing, inspection and certification (TIC).
