GALI INTERNACIONAL, SA, based in Sentmenat near Barcelona, develops and manufactures starting systems for combustion engines and gas turbines. The product range comprises air starters of the A17, A27, A27LP, A47, A48, S30, S38 and G300 series as well as hydraulic starters H5 to H30 for engines from 0 to 110 litres displacement, complemented by complete hydraulic starting systems with tank, nitrogen accumulator and electric or hand pump. The company's own R&D department develops all main components such as rotors, crown gears, shafts and main valves in-house. The housings are made of aluminium; the systems are lubrication-free, operate directly at 10 to 40 bar or up to 210 bar hydraulically and are available in ATEX versions. Fields of application include marine propulsion and auxiliary engines, emergency power gensets, conventional and nuclear power plants, oil and gas offshore installations, mining, military and locomotives. In addition, the company offers ATEX vehicle conversions, IsmATEX training courses and the SegurATEX after-sales service.
