Garage Stalder Fahrzeugelektrik & Hydraulik GmbH is a brand-independent vehicle business in Bülach in the canton of Zurich, founded in 1962 by Albert Stalder. Originally established as Stalder Diesel und Autoelektrik, specializing in engine overhauls as well as the reconditioning of injection pumps, injection nozzles, starters and generators, the focus shifted to the vehicle electrics business after the move to the current company site. In 1988 a hydraulics department was added, which was expanded in 1991 through a building extension. Since 2002 the company has been run by owner Jürg Stalder and offers services in vehicle electrics, hydraulics, engine overhauls and brand-independent vehicle repair.

History

1. 1962

   Founded by Albert Stalder as Stalder Diesel und Autoelektrik in Bülach on Zürichstrasse; specialization in engine overhauls, injection pump and nozzle reconditioning as well as starter and alternator overhauls.

2. 1970

   Move to the current company site; injection pumps are no longer reconditioned, focus on vehicle electrics.

3. 1988

   Establishment of a hydraulics department.

4. 1991

   Building extension to expand the hydraulics department.

5. 2002

   Taken over by Jürg Stalder; renamed Garage Stalder Fahrzeugelektrik & Hydraulik GmbH.
