Gardis SA is a Swiss company based in Cadro (Lugano) in the canton of Ticino, specializing in the planning, manufacturing and wiring of electrical switchgear panels. The product portfolio includes distribution boards of the Mini-TAL and TAL series made from aluminium profiles, meter cabinets of the GZK series made from folded and welded aluminium, distribution boards for civil and industrial purposes, switchgear panels for medical facilities and operating theatres in accordance with EN 61439-1 and IEC 60364-7-710 with IT-M system, systems for heating and air-conditioning technology, automation and motor control systems, Power Center systems with rated currents up to 4000 A as well as Motor Control Centers (MCC) with fixed compartments. Foundation of Gardis SA by Orazio Cerboni; taking over the representation of the canton of Ticino for the company Gardy (Geneva), based in Davesco-Soragno.
- 1998
Relocation of the company to Cadro (Lugano), Via La Stampa, into a new production complex; expansion of the offering to include aluminium cabinets in custom versions.
