About us
Gartenbau Sattler was founded in 2002 by Maria and Walter Sattler and specializes in the cultivation of tomatoes in greenhouses. Starting from conventional agriculture, the company began with one hectare of growing area under glass and has since expanded this to five hectares. The specially grown tomato plants are placed in the greenhouse in January, grow there to a length of around 15 meters during the season and gain about four centimeters per day. The manual care includes winding the vines, removing the leaves and pinching the clusters, and is carried out by long-standing employees. The company operates on the principle of producing high-quality fruit in partnership with nature.
