About Gaßner Beschriftungen
Gaßner Beschriftungen produces lettering sets and retrofit sets for H0 scale model railways. The range includes dry-transfer letterings as well as screen-printed decals for freight cars, locomotives and passenger cars of Era 2 (Deutsche Reichsbahn) and Era 3 (Deutsche Bundesbahn and Deutsche Reichsbahn). With over 350 items, a broad spectrum of prototype-accurate model letterings is covered, with great emphasis placed on correct typefaces and content matching the prototype. Metal plates are reproduced using the finest etched parts made of brass and german silver; matching accessories round out the offering. The company was founded in 1977 by Hermann Gaßner and was run as a sole proprietorship in Unna until 2025. After the owner's death on 23 March 2025, Joachim Reinhard together with Wagenwerk continues to run the business and the range responsibly.
