About Gastrolux

Gastrolux has been developing and producing premium cookware since 1956 in its own plant in Ryomgård, Denmark. The pans and pots are made from Scandinavian recycled aluminium, which is squeeze-cast into bodies with an 8 mm thick base; on induction models, the induction plate is cast directly into the molten aluminium. The non-stick surfaces are applied in the company's own plant: the three-layer Biotan® Plus system based on PTFE as well as the PFAS-free, silicone-based EVO PFAS-FREE system. Aluminium production surplus is collected in the plant, remelted and reused. Every product is inspected at every production stage and receives an individual serial number. Aluminium, coating and handles are produced exclusively in Europe; distribution is handled via distributors and trading partners worldwide.
