Gasum Oy is a state-owned Finnish energy company headquartered in Espoo, active in the Nordic countries. The company supplies natural gas and liquefied natural gas (LNG), produces biogas and liquefied biogas (LBG/bio-LNG) through anaerobic digestion of organic waste, and develops e-methane (power-to-gas). In addition to gas production, Gasum operates LNG terminals in Finland, Sweden and Norway, bunkering vessels for shipping, and a network of around 100 gas filling stations in Norway, Finland and Sweden. Other business areas include bio-waste management, organic fertiliser (Biogödsel), biocompost, electricity procurement for industry, and energy market services through the MiFID-licensed subsidiary Gasum Portfolio Services. Customers come from industry (process energy), shipping, heavy transport and agriculture. The company aims to offer 7 TWh of renewable gases per year by 2027.

Energy Sources and Services
Biogas and liquefied biogas (LBG/bio-LNG)
Renewable energy source produced by anaerobic digestion of bio-waste, manure and residues from agriculture and the food industry, used as a fuel and process energy.
Natural gas and liquefied natural gas (LNG)
Energy source for industry, shipping and heavy transport, liquefied at −162 °C with a 600-fold reduced volume for storage and transport.
E-methane
Synthetic, fully renewable energy source produced via power-to-gas processes using green hydrogen and biogenic CO₂.
Biogödsel (organic fertiliser)
Nutrient-rich digestate of high hygienic quality, largely approved for organic farming.
Biocompost
Solid fraction with approx. 30 % dry matter from separated digestate for agricultural use.
Electricity
Procurement and marketing of electrical energy for industrial customers.
