GBE Maschinenbau GmbH in Gersthofen near Augsburg specialises in tube forming technology, forming machines, precision presses and custom special-purpose machinery. Steel
Base material for formed parts, tools and face grinding rings.
Stainless steel
For tube components such as fittings, housing and sleeve parts with high demands on corrosion protection.
Aluminium
Easily formable material for tube end working such as expanding, necking in and reducing.
Copper and copper alloys
Used for tube components, lines and as a material in tool making.
Castings
Used for cast cores and cast parts, e.g. clamping fixtures for post-processing.
Elastomers
Material for elastomer pressing for shape-forming of thin-walled stainless steel tubes without tool marks.
Axial forming
Expanding, necking in, reducing and calibrating tube ends with high dimensional accuracy, roundness and surface quality.
Radial forming
Forming via tool segments, standard diameter range ⌀ 50 to 250 mm, with integrated punching and notching.
Rotary forming
Rotating tools produce beads, grooves and flanges with low forming force and high surface quality.
Elastomer pressing
Precise forming of thin-walled stainless steel tubes to the die contour without tool marks.
Face grinding
Grinding of small to very large steel rings on flat or trapezoidal surfaces with the highest demands on flatness.
