Manufacturing network for electronics Made in Germany

The GBS EMS Group is a strategic manufacturing network for electronics production with four sites in northern Bavaria and Hesse. The group comprises GBS Electronic Solutions GmbH (Bayreuth), Elektron Systeme und Komponenten GmbH (Weißenohe and Igensdorf), productware GmbH (Dietzenbach) and ib Prozessleittechnik GmbH (Weißenohe). The group manufactures complex electronic assemblies, cable harnesses and complete devices – from SMD and THT assembly through reflow and wave soldering, assembly cleaning, painting and protective coating to testing, device assembly and system integration (box build). In addition, ib Prozessleittechnik has been manufacturing keyboards and control elements for industrial applications since 1973. The service portfolio ranges from design for manufacturing, schematic diagram creation, hardware and software development, PCB layout and prototyping to procurement and obsolescence management as well as logistics, aftermarket and lifecycle services. Served industries include defense, aerospace, UAV, industrial, medical technology, communications, automotive, rail technology, power plants and process automation. Production runs from lot size 1 to high-volume series – Made in Germany.
