gc Wärmedienste GmbH (german contract) was founded in 2005 as a 100-percent subsidiary of Stadtwerke Neuss GmbH and is a contracting service provider for energy and heating technology. The company plans, finances, installs, services and repairs heating systems of every scale from 1 kW to 5,000 kW – from a single heat pump to a local heating network. The service portfolio includes contracting for CHP units, boiler systems (gas, oil, log wood, pellets), local and district heating, PV and PVT systems, fuel cells (e.g. BlueGEN), heat pumps, air conditioning technology and pellet heating, as well as energy consulting, grant application support and a 24/7 emergency service. Implementation is carried out together with a nationwide network of plumbing and heating (SHK) trade partners; customers pay a monthly rate with no upfront investment, with up to 15 years of full warranty including maintenance and repair. By 2024, more than 5,000 projects had been completed. Target groups are property developers, property management companies, commercial businesses, municipalities and institutions, the healthcare sector, hotels and gastronomy as well as the plumbing and heating trade.
