About GE Inspection Robotics

GE Inspection Robotics AG, headquartered in Zurich, develops mobile, autonomous inspection robots for large power generation and industrial processing facilities. Founded in 2006 as a joint venture between GE Power Services and ETH Zurich, the company offers systems for Remote Visual Inspection with the BIKE and FAST RVI platforms, which perform service and maintenance tasks on hard-to-access plant components. The robots operate autonomously and precisely even in adverse environments and help operators and inspection companies minimize downtime and maintenance periods while improving environmental and occupational safety. Fields of application include power plants, chemical and petrochemical facilities, and the maritime industry. Since October 1, 2020, the company has belonged to Baker Hughes and is now part of Waygate Technologies, Baker Hughes' inspection and metrology segment.
