GEBHARDT Automation GmbH was founded in 1988 in Ennepetal and develops, manufactures and tests protection and control systems for turbomachinery in the process industry. The product portfolio includes the modular automation systems GA BlueLine² and BlueLine³, high-availability TMR and DUPLEX systems with scalable redundancy up to SIL3, and the engineering and visualization software BlueEdit, TurWin and DataView. Since 1997, the company has additionally offered control cabinet construction as a standalone service, including custom-built special cabinets with explosion protection EEx i and EEx p, earthquake protection or special paint finishes. The systems safeguard the operation of turbines, compressors and expanders in industries such as fuel gas supply, refineries, power generation, pipelines, steam turbines, blast furnaces and chemical plants. Development, manufacturing, control cabinet construction and quality assurance take place at the headquarters in Ennepetal; all systems are tested there on a turnkey basis. With more than 800 installations, an export share of 75 % and a presence in over 30 countries, the company operates internationally.
