GEBOL GmbH is an Austrian manufacturer of work gloves and personal protective equipment (PPE) based in Enns, Upper Austria. The product range includes coated knitted gloves, leather gloves, gardening gloves as well as safety products such as knee pads, respiratory, hearing and head protection, workwear and work shoes. The gloves are made, among other things, from nylon, elastane, polyester and bamboo viscose with nitrile or latex coating, as well as from full-grain cattle leather and split cattle leather. Customers include leading DIY retailers in 20 European countries as well as industrial and commercial customers; international discounters, the grocery trade and furniture stores are supplied via the 100 percent subsidiary G2Trade. Originally founded in 1945 as a painter's supplies dealer, the offering increasingly shifted towards occupational safety; since 2018 this has been the business focus.
