About Komet Dental
Gebr. Brasseler GmbH & Co. KG (Komet Dental) was founded in 1923 by the Brasseler brothers in Lemgo and is an internationally active manufacturer of dental instruments. The core range comprises rotating and oscillating instruments for dentists and dental laboratories, including drills, burs and files made of tungsten carbide, diamond, ceramic and nickel-titanium. In addition, the company develops and manufactures rotating instruments and saw blades for orthopaedics, dermatology, surgery and ophthalmology, as well as dental handpieces, contra-angles, pins and screws for dental restoration, sterilisation containers and bur blocks. Production takes place entirely at the Lemgo site ('Made in Lemgo'). The products are distributed via the company's own sales subsidiaries and trading partners in more than 100 countries, including the USA, Canada, Brazil, China, Japan and Australia. As an owner-managed family business in its third generation, Komet Dental continuously invests in new materials, innovative instrument geometries and patented technologies such as the diamond-ceramic-pearl coating DIAO.
