About Jäcklin Maschinenbau
Gebr. Jäcklin GmbH is a mechanical engineering company based in Augsburg that has been run as a family business in its third generation since 1935. Its core business comprises the development and manufacture of screw compressors (airends) for compressed air supply in high-speed trains, freight trains and locomotives. These compressor stages supply, among other things, brake systems, door opening and further pneumatic components in rail transport. A second business area is the manufacture of high-precision, custom rotors for compressors and pumps as well as gearbox and machine manufacturing, including pump spindles. Production is CNC-supported; all products undergo quality control using CNC-controlled measuring machines. With around 80 employees, this ISO 9001-certified company supplies international industry, in particular rail vehicle construction as well as the compressor and pump industry. Since 2020, there has been a product division, Jäcklin Medical, with an attached FFP2 mask production facility.
