About Gebr. Kunz GmbH
Gebr. Kunz GmbH develops and manufactures components for high-current systems made of copper and aluminium. Since the late 1960s, the development and production of high-current components has been the core business. The portfolio includes expansion connectors (GKKP, GKKS, GKAS, GKKH, GKKN), busbars, laminated busbars, grounding straps as well as turned parts, milled parts, welded parts and special components. Production takes place exclusively in Germany in multi-shift operation and ranges from prototypes and small series to high-volume series production with just-in-time delivery. In addition, the company offers engineering of high-current systems, creation of production drawings, overhaul as well as on-site assembly. Customers come from rail technology, wind and solar energy, energy infrastructure, the chemical industry, switchgear construction, automotive/e-mobility and battery storage. The mid-sized company with more than 50 employees is run by the third generation and supplies customers in Germany and worldwide.
