About Müllerbräu
Gebr. Müller Müllerbräu GmbH & Co. KG is a family-run brewery in Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm and the only brewery still operating in the town. The company produces a variety of beer styles as well as non-alcoholic beverages such as the Lieschen Müller Schorlen. Raw materials include aroma hops from the company's own hop gardens, Bavarian malt and water from an own well on the brewery premises. The brewery combines traditional brewing methods with modern technology and relies for its energy supply on its own photovoltaic system, green electricity and heat from the local biomass combined heat and power plant, whose residual heat also supplies surrounding households. Since 2021, the brewery has been Bioland-certified for its first organic beer. In addition to the brewery, the company includes a hotel with brewery inn on the main square, an administrative building and the brewery restaurant Sudhaus with a glass brewery, opened in 2024. The product range has been awarded 31 accolades at the European Beer Star and World Beer Cup.
