About Original LÖWE

Gebr. Schröder GmbH manufactures Original LÖWE cutting tools for professional use. The basis is the anvil shear principle patented by Walther Schröder in 1923: a pulling blade cuts against a fixed substrate. The range includes garden shears (GardenPRO, natural), industrial shears (INDUSTRIAL) for trades such as tilers, carpenters, automotive construction, leather industry, and irrigation technology, as well as hunting shears and accessories such as leather holsters. Wear parts such as blades, anvils, springs, and bearings are replaceable; spare parts are also available for models decades old. It is manufactured from steel for blades and substrates; the natural series uses hickory and beech wood handles and genuine leather. Since 2019, production and administration have been located at the headquarters in Flintbek (Schleswig-Holstein); shipping is done within Germany.
