About Gebr. Steinhart
Gebr. Steinhart is a candle manufacturer founded in 1924 and based in Krumbach (Swabia). The company produces pillar candles, tapered candles, candlestick candles, floating candles, tea lights, scented candles and novelty candles as well as technical waxes and dental waxes. Production is carried out using pressing, dipping, drawing and casting processes; fully automated systems produce color-overdipped or through-colored finished products and blanks for further finishing. Finishing is done partly automatically and partly by hand, which shapes the artisanal character of the candles. The in-house development department designs seasonal collections and, on customer request, individual assortments with custom colors, designs and surface textures, plus packaging in cooperation with specialized printing companies. At the Krumbach site, technical production, administration, development/design and quality assurance are located; in Krumbach-Niederraunau the company operates a warehouse, and the production facility in Piotrkow, Poland, with around 150 employees, manufactures the entire candle assortment including manual finishing.
